Burton Library's 19th Annual Edible Book Festival
Do you love books and making fun things in the kitchen? Enter our Virtual Edible Book Festival Contest! Winners will receive gift certificates and prizes from local businesses!
About the contest:
The Edible Book Festival is an annual book-themed international food contest held on April fools. Every year, the Burton Library holds a celebration, but due to the current state, our 19th annual will be of the virtual kind!!
To enter:
1. Make, bake, create, an entirely edible creation based on a book.
2. Take a picture of the creation AND a picture of the creation with the creator-this is to ensure authenticity. Place the book near your creation in the picture if possible. We have tons of books available at the Burton Library for inspiration. We will only post pictures of the creators with your written permission, see 4.
3. Email the pictures to: youth@burton.lib.oh.us by Saturday, April 3rd.
4. In the email, please include:
- Your name
- The book you based your creation on
- Whether it is a child, teen, adult, or family creation
- The picture(s) of your creation
- Indicate if you give the library permission to post the picture of the creator(s) on our social media pages.
Entries will be posted to our social media pages and website the week of April 5. Voting will take place online following the posting of the entries!
Winners will be selected (via votes) in the following categories:
Child
Teen
Adult
Family
