Kids

Bake or make an entirely edible "book" creation and bring it to the library by 11 a.m. The creations will be judged in Funniest, Most Realistic and Most Book-Like categories. Stories, games, and cookie decorating will also take place. 

Join us to celebrate our updated Children's Room with a visit from Mo Willem's Elephant and Piggie! Enjoy face painting, a concert by Mr. Jesse, a special storytime, and food!

Meet a sheep and two other farm animals!  Learn how farmers care for their animals and how wool is turned into yarn.  All ages welcome.  Presented by Lake Metroparks.

Try your hand at our different Lego Star Wars kits.  build a TIE fighter to blast the Death Star!
Registration required.  Ages 5 and up.

Learn the basics of fencing brought to you by Alcazar Fencing Club.  Ages 6 and up

Experiment with making robots from scratch using an Arduino microprocessor, motors, sensors and breadboards!  Coding and circuits will be explored.  
Registration is required.  Grades 5-8.  Registrants must attend all 3 sessions.  

Dance the night away in your pajamas to best-loved popular kids songs

Use your detective skills and various clues such as tracks and real-life evidence to find out which animal is which! 
Grades K-3.  Presented by Geauga Park District.
