We are excited to announce our Burton Public Library Virtual Art Show which will include a people’s choice award and prizes in both child & teen/adult categories!
Submissions will be accepted beginning September 21st and will close October 10th.
The show, as well as voting for people's choice awards, will take place virtually October 16th - 30th.
We'd love for you to submit your art! If you are interested, please follow these guidelines for submitting:
- Artist must submit one google entry form per piece of artwork (3 pieces, max). Google form submissions for each age group can be found below this description. If child entry, parent may submit form(s).
- Artist must also submit an email to email@example.com with pictures of their submissions attached to the email (please include your/artists name and phone number in the email so we can match up form(s) to artwork submissions). If child entry, parent may submit email.
- Artist must be a resident, work, or go to school in Geauga, Portage, or Lake County.
- Artist will have the option to list the price of their work if the piece is for sale. The Library will not be taking payments for art this year, nor a commission, but rather if anyone expresses interest in purchasing an art piece, we will encourage them to contact the artist directly.
Please Note: It is at the library's discretion to not display all submitted art. We are not liable for images on our site, you may add watermarks to works. For questions or concerns, contact us at (440) 834-4466 or go to burtonlibrary.org for more information.

A note on our 2020 Art Show:
As a community library, we strive to provide high quality programs, resources, and opportunities for our patrons. Due to the current health crisis, we are unable to offer our normal in-person Burton Art Show, as we have done annually in the past. While we are disheartened by this, we have been working hard on making this alternative virtual option a success for everyone involved. While this will not be a juried show, we still hope you will consider submitting your work, and we look forward to the time when we can view and appreciate art together in person once again in the future.
